Founder & Director
Trevor Anderson is a development professional fascinated by the complexity of urban space and city building. With degrees in architecture, urban development, and economics, he seeks to overcome challenges unique to the built environment. He has contributed to architectural practice, climate resilience policy, and sustainability leadership in his previous work. Through Civitas Urban Lab, Trevor translates research, collaboration, and emerging technologies into tangible urban impact.

Director & Advisor
Isabelle Weidemann is a two-time Olympic Champion and one of Canada’s most accomplished long track speed skaters. She brings a particular interest in athlete development environments, community sport infrastructure, and youth access to sport. Her perspective helps the broader urban ecosystem to support health, performance, and community wellbeing.

Advisor
Based in New York City, Kevin Anderson is a seasoned professional in strategy and partnerships, currently serving as the SVP of Strategy & Partnerships at Sentify. Prior to moving to the tech sector, Kevin spent eight years as a Civil Engineer at Lendlease, contributing to sustainable practices within the construction industry. His experiences in both tech and construction sectors offer invaluable perspective toward innovative solutions in the built environment.

Advisor
Jacob Taranto is a strategy professional working across infrastructure, energy, and urban systems. At the Boston Consulting Group, he has supported projects spanning housing policy, sustainable infrastructure, and public-sector transformation. His work focuses on translating technical, economic, and policy insights into practical, decision-ready strategies. At Civitas Urban Laboratory, Jacob contributes as a Project Advisor, supporting applied research and the development of data-driven solutions to complex urban challenges.
